Important Notice Concerning Customer Privacy

Cross Country Automotive Services, Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively, Cross Country) have been providing quality services, benefits and programs to our clients, their customers, and our retail customers for over 35 years. We value the trust that our clients, their customers and our retail customers place in us. In turn, we guard that trust by respecting the privacy of all of our clients, their customers and our retail members, particularly as it relates to maintaining the confidentiality of any personal information that we receive. This notice explains the types of personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the circumstances under which we may share it. This notice is provided on behalf of Cross Country Automotive Services, Inc. and its subsidiaries (including Cross Country Motor Club, Inc. and Cross Country Motor Club of California, Inc.) and applies to our current and former clients, their customers and our retail customers. This notice applies only to the customer information that we receive in connection with this website and to the information that is not publicly available ("information") or used on an aggregate basis. This notice takes precedence over any previous privacy notices that we have issued related to our website. A separate privacy policy is set forth on the Argosi.net website for the members of the network of independent service providers.

With respect to our clients’ customers and our retail customers, personal identifying information will not be captured when you visit our website unless you voluntarily furnish such information. We will limit the information we collect about our customers to what is necessary to administer our business, provide superior service, and offer opportunities that we think would be of benefit to our clients and customers.

Amassing information
In order to best serve your needs, we gather and retain the following information about you:
• Information we receive on application and other forms.
• Information about our clients, their customers and our retail customers, as well as members of the network of service providers, that are engaged in transactions with us and our affiliates, or other organizations that are not members of our corporate family ("non-affiliates").
• Information we obtain about clients, their customers, our retail customers, or the members of the network of service providers, using our Web site or information we receive from these parties communicating by regular mail, e-mail, phone or other methods with us.
• Information we obtain from third parties to provide better services to our clients, their customers and our retail customers.
How we use your information
There are many times when you may choose to supply us with personal information. For example, if you should enroll in the program on-line or when you use the Contact Us tool to request information or make specific inquiries regarding any of our products or services. In these instances you may provide personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address and credit card number. It is our intent to let you know that you are supplying personal information before you supply it.
It is also our intent to let you know at the time you supply personal information how we will use such information. Unless otherwise expressed, Cross Country does not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties. However, we may share your personal information with affiliated and/or nonaffiliated companies in order to serve you. Companies involved in providing service to you or your car, such as independent third party service providers, may be provided information about you or your car. However, we will limit such information only to those who have a reasonable need it to perform relevant service or repairs.
In addition, we also may use your information responsibly to inform you of products and services made available from our carefully selected marketing partners, often with special member benefits.
Our definition of personal information does not include "aggregate" information. Aggregate information is data we collect about a group or category of products, services or customers, from which individual customer identities have been removed. In other words, information about how you use a service may be collected and combined with information about how others use the same service, but no personal information will be included in the resulting data. Likewise, information about the products you purchase may be collected and combined with information about the products purchased by others. Aggregate data helps us understand trends and customer needs so that we can better consider new products and services, and tailor existing products and services to customer desires.
Information we disclose
Most of the information we collect is used to help deliver the services that our customers request. It also may permit us to design and offer specific products and services that will be useful to our clients’ customers and our retail customers, or that provide benefits, additional value or discounts. We may disclose all of the information we collect to our affiliates and, as described below, to non-affiliates.
Categories of non-affiliates to which we may disclose information
From time to time, we may allow non-affiliates to extend offers of products and services for our retail customers when we feel that such products and services may be of special value or of particular interest to you. With respect to our clients’ customers, our clients will determine whether any non-affiliates may extend offers of products and services and this section does not apply to personal information from our clients’ customers.
The companies to which we may disclose the information we collect may include financial service providers, such as banking, lending and insurance companies, as well as non-financial companies, such as retailers, sellers of consumer products and services, travel vendors and independent marketing companies. We may disclose the information we collect about you to non-affiliates as permitted or required by law. We also may disclose the information described in the section above called "Amassing Information" to non-affiliated financial institutions with which we have a joint marketing arrangement or to other non-affiliated companies/outside service providers with which we contract in order for our own services to function properly or to complete transactions, such as the processing of credit card transactions. These joint marketing and outside service providers are required by us to enter into written agreements with us to safeguard the confidentiality of our retail customers information and use it only for authorized purposes.
Our policies and practices to protect your information
We restrict access to your information to those employees, agents or other similar persons who need to know that information in order to provide products and services to you. We maintain appropriate safeguards that comply with federal and other applicable standards to protect your information. We require our vendors and network contractors to agree, as a condition of doing business with us, to preserve the confidentiality of the information we disclose to them in order to carry out the services for which we have contracted, and not to disclose such information or otherwise use it except for the purpose for which such information was disclosed to them.
We restrict access of your information to individuals who need to know in order to conduct business. Our employees are trained on security and the need to maintain the confidentiality of the information. Our system security is continually monitored and updated to safeguard data.
Our website contains links to and from other websites. Cross Country makes no representations whatsoever about any other websites that you may have accessed our website from or may access through this one. Cross Country is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites and Cross Country expressly disavows any liability whatsoever for use of such websites.
