Cross Country Automotive Names Don Muio as Human Resources Manager
 
Human Resources Veteran to Manage Employee Relations and Recruiting for Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Response Center
 

MEDFORD, MA - March 23, 2005 — Cross Country Automotive Services (Cross Country), a leading provider of integrated vehicle and driver programs, including its flagship service emergency roadside assistance, announced today that Don Muio has joined the organization as Human Resources Manager in its Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Response Center. In his role, Muio is chartered with supporting Cross Country’s rapid growth resulting from increased demand for the company’s products and services by managing the hiring process. Muio will also participate in the company’s celebrated employee training and incentive programs for this location.

Muio has extensive experience in human resources, employee relations and training in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Cross Country, Muio served as a partner for Ottawa-based D. Pearlman and Associates, a division of Labor Relations and Education Services, Inc., a provider of human resources training and consulting to employers throughout Ontario. Previously, Muio served as Vice President of Hospital Services at Sault Area Hospital. In his role, Muio built upon the human resources experience that he had acquired with the hospital since 1990, and played an integral role in the organizational restructuring of Sault Area Hospital.

During this time, Muio served as the Chief Human Resources Officer and spokesperson in hospital union negotiations and the corporate lead on all employment issues. Muio’s prior positions include an array of human resources and corporate operations responsibilities across sectors, including education and steel. Muio will report to Sandra Savage, Cross Country’s Vice President of Human Resources.
