Cross Country Automotive Services Recognized by CIO Magazine as a CIO 100 Award Honoree

MEDFORD, MA – June 16, 2008– Cross Country Automotive Services announced today that it was recognized by CIO Magazine as a CIO 100 Award Winner. The 21st annual award program recognizes the 100 organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT).
Cross Country was recognized for creating business value through its OneRoad CRM platform.

"The CIO 100 honors organizations that have used technology in innovative ways to generate value to the business," said Abbie Lundberg, Editor in Chief of CIO Magazine. "Unlike other top lists, it’s not just about who’s biggest—it’s about who’s doing the most interesting and relevant things."

Cross Country Automotive Services provides vehicle and driver related products and services including the company’s emergency roadside assistance and telematics products to more than a 100 Corporate clients and over 75 million customers. Cross Country was recognized for the company’s “state-of-the-art”, proprietary CRM solution, OneRoad. The platform was developed leveraging the shared knowledge and best practices resulting from the company’s 30-year heritage in handling roadside assistance for leading automakers, insurers and financial services organizations. OneRoad leverages leading edge technologies including IVRU/Speech, GIS, POI, and mobile technologies and had provided Cross Country with a means to provide a better, faster, more accurate, consistent customer experience in the delivery of a complex product where the customer is often under duress.

“Winning this award from CIO Magazine is truly an honor for Cross Country, and recognition of our commitment to leading edge technology innovation, “ said Mark Carbrey, Chief Information Officer of Cross Country Automotive Services. “We are in the business of providing superior customer satisfaction, whether it’s a Fortune 500 automotive client or a stranded motorist in an unsafe situation. We are proud to be acknowledged by such an esteemed publication for our innovative and effective approach to customer service.”

The 2008 CIO 100 awards will be presented at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on August 26 at the conclusion of the tenth annual CIO 100 Symposium® and Awards Ceremony.
